FAQs
What does OSSO mean?
OSSO stands for One-Stop Shop for Orthopaedics. Trivia: OSSO means ‘bone’ in Portuguese and other languages derived from Latin
Why Choose OSSO?
OSSO offers several differentiated services that guarantee a flawless experience for you. Check our section “Why Choose OSSO?” to know more about what sets us apart.
Will a physiotherapist be assigned to me?
Yes, absolutely. We offer you a comprehensive service wherein both physiotherapist and an orthopaedic doctor assess you. Once the diagnosis is made, the two specialists work together to tailor a customised treatment plan for you. They keep in touch and monitor your progress jointly! To know more, see our section “How it Works”.
Can I come to OSSO only for physiotherapy?
Well, taking only physiotherapy sessions is definitely possible at OSSO. However, we follow a process of comprehensive assessment (called OSSO 360°) that is performed by a physiotherapist and an orthopaedic doctor . This ensures that your diagnosis is accurate and accordingly, the correct treatment has been planned for you. If after our assessment, we feel that you require any different kind of intervention, we will discuss your recovery goals and mutually chart the path ahead. To know more, see our section “How it Works.”
Does OSSO guarantee treatment without surgery?
Well, the short answer is no, While we cannot guarantee this, we will however. However, we will try our best to devise treatment plans that are minimally invasive and allow you to recover as fast as possible. We will always prefer a conservative approach to avoid or delay surgery as much as possible. This is one of our USPs! Read about it in our “Why Choose OSSSO?” section. If your condition is severe enough that surgery is the only option, only then we prescribe surgery. Our doctors will perform the surgery at our partner hospitals. We prefer to use regenerative technology for surgeries that accelerate your healing and bring you back to functionality ASAP.
